Game Grumps is an American Let's Play web series hosted by Arin Hanson (2012–present) and Dan Avidan (2013–present). Created in 2012 by co-hosts Hanson and Jon Jafari , the series centers around its hosts playing video games.
Good Game is an American comedy series, developed by Michele Morrow and Jesse Cox, that premiered on August 30, 2017, on YouTube Red. In March 2018, it was announced that the show had been cancelled after one season due to low viewership, despite receiving mostly favorable reviews.
On July 18 of the same year, Jafari and Hanson uploaded their first serials of Game Grumps: Kirby Super Star, Mega Man 7 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. On the Game Grumps channel, Jafari and Hanson played games together, typically ones that were retro or nostalgic in style, and commented over them with their own comedic inputs.
Throughout 2020, the source code for several games by Nintendo (as well as console firmware) was leaked by anonymous users on 4chan.
