I've bought a good few Steam keys from G2A. I've only had an issue with an invalid key once, and G2A refunded me within a few minutes. You have to purchase the insurance when paying for your key, but it's something like 1.50. Worth it. The reason I got stung was because I never checked the seller's rating.

G2A is a lottery. Maybe the key is gonna work because it was bought under some regional pricing. Maybe it will work but get revoked because it was bought via fraudulent means. If you want to buy a game, buy it from official sellers.
I have made a purchase from G2A.COM however it was a misleading one. the website sells steam keys which I intended to purchase from this transaction but the seller sold me an existing account instead which is not allowed by Valve (Steam owner) and this makes me at risk of getting my accounts revoked and losing the digital purchase.
The seller wont gain access to your main account but I'd advice you still to not use it. Using a bought account like this violates the steam subscribers agreement and you risk your main account. Vote with your money and never buy from G2A again, as they intentionally somewhat obscure the fact that you bought an account, and not a key.

(g2a fees), then there are currency conversion fees, and withdrawel fees. All calculate this roughly before making a purchase. I'll just copy paste what I posted a month ago on r/g2a: Depends on the game, I look for a few things: expected profit (after g2a fees), popularity and expected probability for a price rally to the bottom.
G2A Plus Benefits. Hey Guys, I've been a member of G2A Plus for over a year now and I love buying games through their store at discounted prices. One of the cool features that G2A Plus had which now seems to be missing is getting a free box to open every $20 or more purchase. What happened?
SunnySideUp82. • 10 mo. ago. I've bought 5 random VIP codes twice. Both times it's been 5 shovelware games. Last pack I bought the biggest game was 2GB, the other 4 were around 100MB each. Cheap single person Indie games that may show the $29.99 price tag, but in reality no one ever bought the game. Last one had:
