Evergreen Museum & Library is a historic house museum and research library in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is located between the campuses of the Notre Dame of Maryland University and Loyola University Maryland. It is operated by Johns Hopkins University along with Homewood Museum; both make up the Johns Hopkins University Museums.
Gu Xiong was born 1953 in Chongqing, Sichuan, China. [1] At the age of 18, during the Chinese cultural revolution, Xiong was sent to live in the countryside where he sketched scenes of rural life. [3] He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts degree (1985) [4] from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. [5]
Evergreen Cemetery is a garden-style cemetery on Stevens Avenue in the Deering neighborhood of Portland, Maine. With 239 acres (97 ha) of land, it is the largest cemetery in the state. [ 2 ] Established in 1855, in what was then Westbrook , the cemetery is home to one of the state's most prominent collections of funerary art.
