The local team (s) are blacked out, that is how it works. This is because they want you to buy the local RSN. For example, if you live in Ohio, the Blue Jackets will be blacked out, you would need Bally's Ohio to get those games. The exception is once a week there is a game only on +, these should not be blacked out anywhere.
ESPN+ does not offer live streaming of the “regular” ESPN channels. If you want that you’ll need to find a service that offers that service (there are many) so you can authenticate to the ESPN app to stream the games. ESPN+ is not the same as regular ESPN.
Tbh ESPN has very poor historical data. It doesn’t seem to hard to keep a lifetime data of your league running. Champions wall, overall records regular season and playoffs (only teams that made it) , points score , points against, etc etc. easily implemented and would be something people absolutely love to look at
Find the image you want to use (via google or anywhere else) and download/save to desktop. Upload the image to canva.com (set the dimensions to what you want... 500x500 pixel worked for me) Download the image from canva to your desktop as a .JPG. This fix is easy, just annoying. In the ESPN app go to Settings > arrow to TV Provider > and forget the account. Re-login and you're good to go. It depends on what you want to watch. First, it does NOT carry what is on “real” ESPN channels or ABC. It is mostly college football and basketball games from lower conferences, minor college sports like soccer, volleyball, baseball, etc.; a handful of MLB and NHL games, subject to local blackout; early day PGA before the Golf Channel comes on; and foreign events like cric
If you do it from a computer, you just right click on the image, and choose "copy link address" on your Imgur post image. It gives the perfect link to use on their site. From the Imgur phone app you just press for a couple of seconds on the picture, choose "copy post link" and use that one. On ESPN, the link has to end with any actual file type ...
That is just a basic feature for streaming sports and ESPN+ doesn't deliver this. Second, fast-forward is just pathetic. The thumbnails stop at about 1 min after fast forwarding so you push play to see where you are then decide to keep fast-forwarding or to just go from where you are, or even rewind.
Unlike the other ESPN platforms, there are essentially no free workarounds to watching ultimate on ESPN+. On the bright side, it's very easy to set up and watch: Go to Plus.ESPN.com and follow the steps. The cost is $10/month for the standard bundle or $13/month for a bundle including Disney+ and Hulu. There are no free trials.
